Six Sigma Tools for continuous quality improvement

aka Parameter Diagram or p diagram

A Parameter Diagram (P-Diagram) is created prior to starting a (Design) DFMEA,
and is referenced again when creating a (Process) PFMEA.

It is used to analyze Inputs and Outputs and Noise Factors and Control Factors
that can affect performance of desired Ideal Functions, and minimize Error States,
and is one of the tools and methods used to identify Functions, Requirements, and Potential Failure Modes that will be documented and controlled using the FMEA and Control Plan.
