Important: Warn students not to install their trial software until instructed.

Here's how Systems2win trial software works:

Each working document created from a trial template has a 40-day trial period.
(Plenty of time to complete a classroom assignment)

There is a 120-day trial period for the entire application.
At any time during the 120-day trial period, the student can always start a fresh working document, which will start a fresh 40-day trial period for that working document. But once the 120 days is up - then the only way to re-open a trial document is to:

purchase a license
request a one-time trial extension

Students that can afford it will want to own their own licensed version of the templates to:

Preserve your work - with no trial period expiration

Own your own tools - to use at your future job, or as a consultant

As per the License Agreement, only trial and shareware templates are allowed for hands-on classroom learning -
(unless every student in the class has purchased their own license for any of the other 150+ Systems2win tools).

Educational Institutions qualify for discounted pricing for templates that are to be used by the instructor only. (e.g. to prepare examples & handouts, or to teach using a projector.) But hands-on student use is permitted only for trial templates.

It is permissible for the instructor to distribute trial templates directly to students, but it is probably a better idea to have each student download their own trial - thereby enrolling them to receive the Systems2win educational newsletter, and ensuring that they have the latest version.
