Major Upgrade to Work Instructions template
The Work Instructions template that you are currently using will continue to work just fine for ISO 9001:2015.
In a project completely unrelated to ISO 9000...
one of our new customers recently commissioned us to add several new features to the Work Instructions template, and we added those features to base code, so you will get these new features the next time that you renew Annual Maintenance.

(and you can download the latest free trial to see how the new features work)
New Features
1) New 'Hide / Show Rows' button
allows you to maintain multiple items for a product family in a single workbook - instantly generating updates for all items with the click of a single button.
In other words, when one step of your process changes, and that same step is shared by 12 of your 36 products in that product family (but not the other 24)...
you can click one button to update them all.
2) New button to 'Add Rows'
makes it easier for people who aren't that skilled with Excel commands
3) Add a Header Row for a Page Break
When you click the button to 'Add Rows', you have the choice of adding a regular data row, or a 'Header Row for a Page Break'
That header row will span all 4 columns, and will appear at the top of the page (at your specified page break location),
and that header row can be formatted using everything you know about Excel (and pictures) — thereby allowing you MUCH greater flexibility to communicate potentially complex instructions.
4) More ways to handle long instructions
In addition to increasing cell size, linking to related documents (or videos), and referring to long comments in the Comments text boxes at the top and bottom of the document...
it is now easy to insert a text box to make optimal use of all the space available on your page - including previously unused white space near large images.
5) Larger images
Images can now be even larger.
