• Purpose of the 'Cycle Analysis' section — 1:00

  (near the bottom of your Standard Work template), is to analyze whether your current plans will meet your goals

• UOM for Work Time Available — 2:00

  All formulas in this section are based on your chosen Unit of Measure for Work Time Available

  (usually 'Shift', but could be 'Day', 'Week', 'Batch')

• Takt Time — 3:15

  Learn more about Takt Time

• Process Time — 4:30

  This Process Time is adjusted for Personal Fatigue and Delay

• Smallest Possible Staff — 5:45

  Process Time divided by Takt Time

• Number of Workers — 6:15

  When and how to manually override the default calculation

• Process Time per Worker — 7:15

  Andon turns bold italic red if too close to Takt Time (usually 85-100%)

• Utilization — 8:45

  Utilization % = ((Process Time/Workers) * Demand) / Time Available

  Andon turns bold italic red if greater than the % that you enter for 'Utilization Andon' (usually 80-100%)

• Capacity — 9:15

  Capacity = Work Time Available / Process Time per Worker

  Andon turns bold italic red if less than or equal to Demand * the % that you enter in the 'Capacity Andon' field (usually 100% or more)

  Capacity assumptions:

  1) Ratio of Out of Cycle Work stays constant
  2) Work can be evenly divided among workers
